河北美术出版社社长兼总编辑田忠先生是一位杰出的美术出版家,他曾获得过第五届中国出版政府奖优秀出版人物奖;同时他又是一名优秀的陶艺家,兼任河北美术家协会主席团委员、陶瓷艺委会主任,在推广与传播北方磁州窑文化的事业上身体力行,在继承北方磁州窑化妆土传统工艺技术的基础上,发展出化妆土工艺技术新形态,成为北方磁州窑化妆土工艺现代性转化与新人文的实践者。
