为了迎接党的二十大,上海人民美术出版社在今年年初出版了《强国图志:从宣传画里看新中国发展之路》。这是一本从图像的角度解读新中国政治、经济、社会发展的大众读物,同时它也是一部中国宣传画发展的小史。在《出版前言》中,作者写道“宣传画也是一个时代审美价值的载体,体现了不同时代人民群众的精神面貌”。宣传画不仅是审美价值的载体,同时它也在塑造新中国的审美。

To pay tribute to the 20th National Congress of the CPC, Shanghai People’s Fine Arts Publishing House has published Viewing Modern China’s Development Through Postersin the early 2022. This popular book expounds on the political, economic and social development of the New China from the perspective of images. Moreover, it is also a historical chronicle for the evolution of Chinese posters.
