Since its launch in December 2021,the China-Laos Railway has been benefiting the peoples of both China and Laos and generating great momentum for regional economic trade and development.Over the past year,the railway has handled 8.5 million passenger trips and transported 1.12 million tons of cargo.Furthermore,the varieties of the transported goods have diversified to over 1,200 from barely a dozen,an encouraging achievement of the cooperation project between the two countries.
