论柳宗元散文在明代地位的下降

Decline of Status of Liu Zongyuan’s Prose in the Ming Dynasty

明代之前,柳宗元的散文地位居文章四大家前列。而在明代其散文地位却发生了下降,批评者们普遍认为柳宗元仅居文章四大家末位。这与明初君臣轻视文学审美价值的观念以及秦汉派排斥唐宋文、唐宋派对唐文冷遇的文学取向有关。考察柳宗元散文的地位在明代下降的文学现象,对理解明代柳学研究的停滞、把握明代文学批评生态和文学批评主要价值取向的历时性变迁都具有重要意义。

Before the Ming Dynasty,Liu Zongyuan was the leader of Four Masters in terms of prose.However,the status of Liu Zongyuan’s prose in the Ming Dynasty declined,ranking only at the bottom of Four Masters.It is related to the idea that the monarchs and ministers in the early Ming Dynasty despised the aesthetic value of literature,and the literary orientation of the Qin Han School to reject Tang and Song’s prose and the Tang Song School to treat Tang’s prose coldly.Studying the decline of Status of Liu Zongyuan’s Prose in the Ming Dynasty is of great value to understand the stagnation of the study of Liu Zongyuan and to grasp the diachronic changes of the literary criticism ecology and the main value orientation of literary criticism in the Ming Dynasty.
