Proudhon’s Philosophical Interpretation of Modern Poverty

无产阶级贫困是资本主义社会的典型现象,也是社会主义者致力于回答和解决的重大问题。作为19世纪小资产阶级社会主义者的主要代表,蒲鲁东对现代贫困问题作出了哲学上的阐释,但受方法论和历史观的局限,他没有找到现代贫困产生的社会经济根源,对贫困的解释还停留在理性的层面,甚至把无产阶级的贫困视作无法摆脱的宿命,其关于贫困的哲学观在理论上虚幻无力,实践上缺乏建设性。

Poverty of the proletariat was a typical phenomenon of capitalist society and a major problem that socialists were committed to answer and solve.As the main representative of petty-bourgeois socialist in the 19th century, Proudhon made a philosophical explanation of the modern poverty problem.However, due to the limitation of philosophical methodology and historical view, his interpretation of poverty still stayed at the rational level, which didn’ t find the social and economic root of the modern poverty.the proletarian poverty was even seen as an inevitable fate, so his interpretation of modern poverty was illusory in theory, and lack of construction in practice.
