摘要 Novel coronavirus(SARS‑CoV‑2,SARS‑CoV‑2 for short)infection can cause a series of gastrointestinal damage.Related studies have reported that SARS‑CoV‑2 infection can lead to the occurrence and progression of ulcerative colitis, which may be related to the cytokine storm caused by SARS‑CoV‑2 infection.Recently,we have also paid attention to whether infection with SARS‑CoV‑2 will aggravate the condition of UC patients receiving biological immunotherapy and whether vaccination with SARS‑CoV‑2 is safe and effective for these patients. At present, the interaction mechanism between SARS‑CoV‑2,SARS‑CoV‑2 vaccine and ulcerative colitis is not fully understood, and more research is needed to further clarify the relationship.
