“鲁迅传统”是“儒道合一”吗?——兼与宋剑华先生商榷

Is “Lu Xun’s tradition” a “combination of Confucianism and Taoism”?——A discussion with Mr. Song Jianhua

“鲁迅传统”的核心是“立人”,其方式是“尊个性而张精神”。这是西方文化影响下的产物,儒、道文化不仅没有在其中发挥作用,反而是其要清除的对象。所以将鲁迅传统看做“儒道合一”是对这一传统的巨大误解。在复兴传统文化的时代氛围中,鲁迅研究界应该警惕将鲁迅这位反传统的战士,归并到中国传统文化的队伍之中,警惕以“理论正义”掩盖事实真相。“鲁迅传统”是鲁迅研究的“原点”问题,也是继承“鲁迅传统”的基础,值得深入发覆、讨论。

Mr. Song Jianhua regards “Lu Xun’s tradition” as a “combination of Confucianism and Taoism”,which is unacceptable to me. The core of “Lu Xun’s tradition” is “humanity cultivation”,and its way is “respecting personality and developing spirit”. This is the product of the influence of Western culture,Confucianism and Taoism not only do not play a role in it,but are the object to be eliminated.. Therefore,it is a great misunderstanding to regard Lu Xun’s tradition as a “combination of Confucianism and Taoism”.In the era of the revival of traditional culture,the research circle of Lu Xun should be wary of integrating Lu Xun,an anti-traditional warrior,into the team of Chinese traditional culture,and be wary of covering up the truth with “theoretical justice”. “Lu Xun’s tradition” is the “origin” of the research of Lu Xun as well as the basis for inheriting “Lu Xun’s tradition”,which is worthy of in-depth discussion.
