面向地方院校“专升本”学生的资源循环科学与工程专业英语教学探索

Exploration on English Teaching of Resource Recycling Science and Engineering Majors for Students Upgraded from Junior College in Local Universities

“专升本”是新时代职业教育技能型人才培养的重要方式。地方院校是开展专升本教育的主要教学单位。专业英语是本科教育的重要课程,对拓宽学生的学术阅读视野、增强外语专业阅读能力有重要作用。针对资源循环科学与工程专业英语课程教学中发现的学生基础差、时间不足、兴趣不高等问题,教学内容上做了主题汇报、本科论文摘要纠错、精彩双语分享等内容上的改革,对考核方式进行了相应调整。充分利用课堂教学搭建英语学习平台培养学生对专业英语的学习情趣,树立学习目标,进而提升教学质量。

“Upgrading the basic education” is an important way to train skilled talents in the new era of vocational education. Local universities are the main teaching units to carry out the upgrade-college education. Professional English is an important course in undergraduate education, which plays an important role in broadening students’ academic reading horizon and enhancing their reading ability in foreign language majors. In view of the problems of students’ poor foundation, lack of time and low interest in English teaching for resource recycling science and engineering majors, the teaching content has been reformed in theme report,error correction of undergraduate thesis abstract, wonderful bilingual sharing and other contents, and the assessment method has been adjusted accordingly. An English learning platform was built by making full use of classroom teaching time to cultivate students’ interest in learning professional English, set up learning objectives, and then improve teaching quality.
