The Development of Chinese Opera Festival of Little Theatre in Beijing and Playwright Cultivation

中国的小剧场戏曲演出从20世纪末叶受到小剧场话剧的影响而发端,到了21世纪初叶蔚为大观。作为文化艺术与戏剧之都的北京,逐步将小剧场戏曲节的举办以编年的方式铺展到今,集结了一大批编导演的青春方阵,也体现出人类戏剧发展过程中,之于东方小剧场戏曲的一脉清流。

In the end of the 20th century, Chinese drama was performed in little theatres and Chinese opera followed suit. Now in the early 21st century, it is gaining popular. In Beijing,China’s cultural, artistic and dramatic center, little theatre opera festival has been held on a yearly basis, attracting a large number of young and talented directors and playwrights. Chinese opera festival in the east little theatre has become like a breath of fresh air in the history of drama.
