生态语言学中的“语言学”

The “linguistics” of ecolinguistics

在语言学学科中,含有“语言学”这一名称的学科分支很多,但“语言学”在不同的学科分支中有不同的含义。本文围绕着“如何理解生态语言学中的‘语言学’?”这一问题,首先对语言学、应用语言学的一些特点进行简单的回顾,然后重点剖析生态语言学中的“语言学”。本文认为,生态语言学本身不是理论,而是通过使用理论来解决语言与生态关系的问题,在生态语言学中,“理论”通常就是研究的“视角”和研究的“工具”。

There are many branches of linguistics, the names of which contain the morpheme or word “linguistics” as their technical terms, but “linguistics” has different meanings in different branches of the discipline. This paper addresses the question of “How do we understand ‘linguistics’ in ecolinguistics?”, by briefly reviewing some of the characteristics of linguistics and applied linguistics, and then focusing on “linguistics” in ecolinguistics. This paper argues that ecolinguistics is not a theory per se, but rather a way of utilizing existing theories to address the relationship between language and ecology, and that in ecolinguistics, “theory” is usually a “perspective” and/or a “tool” of research.
