The Policy Logic and Path Direction of the Integration of Academic and Vocational and Technology Education in British High Schools Since the 20th Century

摘要 英国是世界上较早倡导普职融合的国家之一。根据其政策发展脉络,英国高中普职融合大致可以分为铺垫、雏形、发展、深化、创新五个时期。职业教育治理观的引领、教育民主化的浪潮、学生综合素养的提升等政策逻辑对普职融合具有重要作用。面向未来,为了适应21世纪技能发展要求,英国高中普职融合政策的路径方向有三个特点:普职融合向高等教育阶段延伸;在职业技术教育中增加学术课程元素;实施综合教育的区域化改革。 The UK is one of the earliest countries in the world that advocate the integration of academic and vocational education. According to the policy development, the integration of academic and vocational education in British high schools can be roughly divided into five periods: preparation, embryonic, development, deepening and innovation. The policy logic,such as the guidance of vocational education governance concept, the wave of education democratization, and the improvement of students’ comprehensive quality, has played an important role in the integration of academic and vocational education. In the future, in order to meet the requirements of skills development in the 21st century, there are three characteristics in the path direction of the integration of academic and vocational education policy in British high schools: extending the integration of academic and vocational education to higher education,adding academic curriculum elements to vocational and technical education, and implementing regional reform of comprehensive education.
