The Landscape of Homework Research:Status Quo and Hotspots——Bibliometrics and Content Analysis Based on International Literature

“双减”政策出台后,家庭作业成为学界研究的热点。通过文献筛选确定Web of Science核心合集数据库中1999年至2022年与家庭作业相关的531篇英文文献为研究对象,运用软件Cite Space6.1.R3对家庭作业研究相关文献的关键词与引文进行共现、聚类、突现等计量分析,从年发文量和被引频次、发文国家和地区分布、核心作者和机构等维度梳理家庭作业研究现状,结合对重要文献的深入研读与内容分析,厘清国际家庭作业研究热点:探析家庭作业对学生的影响,让作业研究有据可循;调研教师家庭作业工作现状,为作业优化提供可能;重视家庭作业中的家长参与,为作业工作增添动力;紧随智能家庭作业发展趋势,为作业工作赋能增效。基于国际家庭作业研究的发展脉络,尝试勾勒国际家庭作业研究图景,以国际化视域审视我国家庭作业工作现状,为我国家庭作业研究与实践提供启示:强化循证研究与评估,助推家庭作业政策更新;加强师资培训与指导,提升家庭作业工作实效;深化家校社协同育人,构建家庭作业帮助体系;充分利用信息化手段,赋能家庭作业智能发展。

Since the introduction of the“double reduction”policy,homework has become a hot topic in academic research.Student’s academic burden,parent’s anxiety and other issues that are closely related to homework have become the focus of social attention.531 English documents that are related to homework in Web of Science Core Collection Database from 1999 to 2022 are selected as the research object.The Software CiteSpace6.1.R3 is used to carry out bibliometric analysis on the co-occurrence,clustering,bursting and other aspects of keyword and citation of literature related to homework research.The current situation of homework research is summarized from the dimensions of the annual number of the published articles and frequency of citation,the distribution of countries and regions,core authors and institutions and so on.Combined with in-depth study and content analysis of the important literature,the hotspots of international homework research are clarified as follows.Researches analyze the impact of homework on students,and provide evidence for homework research.It investigates teacher’s current working status of homework related practice,and provides possibility for homework optimization.It pays attention to the parental involvement in homework,and adds impetus to homework practice.It follows the development trend of intelligent homework,and empowers and enhances the efficiency of homework practice.Based on the development of international homework researches,this paper outlines the research landscape of international homework,and examines the current situation of homework practice in China from an international perspective,on the basis of which the enlightenments are provided for domestic homework research and practice:strengthen evidence-based research and evaluation,and promote the update of homework policy;strengthen teacher’s training and guidance,and improve the effectiveness of homework practice;deepen the cooperation among education of family,school and society,and construct the homework help system;make full use of information technology,and enable the intelligent development of homework.
