Objective To analyze the efficacy of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis in diabetic patients with endstage nephropathy. Methods 60 patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy treated in Longyan Second Hospital between January 2020 and February 2022 were taken as the study subjects, and they were grouped by virtue of the random number table method, there were 30 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were treated with peritoneal dialysis and patients in the control group were treated with hemodialysis. The reduction rate of serum solute, the improvement of inflammatory mediators before and after treatment, and the improvement of renal function before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the P and PTH in two groups de-creased compared with those before treatment, and the decrease in observation group was more obvious than the control group, the difference was statistically significant. After treatment, the index of inflammatory mediators in the observa-tion group was lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The daily urine output levels of the patients in both groups were higher for the observation group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy treated with peritoneal dialysis can correct calcium and phosphorus metabolism, improve inflammatory mediator indexes and protect residual renal function.
