公共图书馆的创伤知情支持研究——以美国雅典-克拉克县图书馆“创伤知情图书馆转型”项目为例

Study on Trauma-informed Supporting in Public Libraries: Case Study of “Trauma-Informed Library Transformation” Program in the Athens-Clarke County Library

[目的/意义]现代人在快节奏高压力的社会环境中学习工作生活,焦虑、抑郁等情绪普遍存在,公共图书馆作为公益性文化机构,可以立足自身专业能力,为读者提供创伤知情支持,彰显图书馆的人文关怀。[方法/过程]运用案例研究法,从发起、组织和实施三个方面对美国雅典-克拉克县图书馆的创伤知情图书馆转型项目进行深入分析。[结果/结论]得出公共图书馆提供创伤知情支持的发展策略:提高馆员素养,拓宽读者服务领域;开展社会合作,深化社会包容理念;建立专门队伍,培养相关专业人才。

[Purpose/significance] Modern people study and work in the fast-paced and high-stress social environment,where depression and anxiety are common. As a public service cultural institution,a public library can provide trauma-informed supporting for readers based on their professional capacity and demonstrate the humanistic care of the libraries.[Method/process] With case study,the paper conducted an in-depth analysis on the Trauma-Informed Library Transformation Project of Athens-Clarke County Library in the USA from the perspectives of initiation,organization,and implementation. [Result/conclusion] The development strategies for trauma-informed supporting in public libraries: improving librarians’ literacy and broadening reader service areas;developing social cooperation and deepening the concept of social inclusion;and establishing specialized teams and cultivating relevant professionals.
