习近平总书记在中国人民大学考察时强调,中国的高等教育要扎根中国大地,走出一条建设中国特色、世界一流大学的新路。这是中国高等教育的时代新使命,也是特殊师范教育的发展新目标。南京特殊教育师范学院作为全国唯一的高等本科特殊教育师范学院,必须坚持中国特色,善于立德树人,更要坚持质量为本,打造特教丰碑,从而创建具有中国特色、国际一流的特殊教育师范大学,打造中国特殊师范教育的“南京模式”。

During the visit to Renmin University of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping stresses that China’s higher education should take root in the land of China and find a new way to build a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. This is the new era mission of China’s higher education and the new development goal of special normal education. As the only higher undergraduate special education normal university in China, Nanjing Normal University of Special Education must adhere to the Chinese characteristics, be good at strengthening moral education and cultivating people. It should also insist on taking quality as the foundation and building a monument of special education, so as to create an international first-class special education normal university with Chinese characteristics, and build the “Nanjing model” of China’s special normal education.
