The Core Meaning,Value Implication and Practice Requirements of Xi Jinping’s Important Exposition on Religious Work in Tibet

党的十八大以来,习近平总书记围绕西藏宗教工作作出一系列重要论述,我们应准确掌握其“宗教工作的本质是群众工作”“坚持所有发展都要赋予民族团结进步的意义”“推进藏传佛教中国化”的核心要义;深刻领会其丰富和发展了新时代党的宗教工作理论、为做好新时代西藏宗教工作指明了前进方向、为铸牢中华民族共同体意识提供了方法论指引的价值意蕴;贯彻落实其积极引导藏传佛教与社会主义社会相适应、组织好“三个意识”教育、坚持“五个有利于”标准的实践要求。

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of important expositions on religious work in Tibet,become the fundamental principle of Tibetan religious work in the new era.In order to thoroughly study his important expositions on religious works in Tibet,the core meanings of“The essence character of religious work is mass work”“All development should be endowed with the significance of national unity and progress”“Promoting the Sinicization of Tibetan Buddhism”should be accurately mastered.Xi’s important expositions on religious work in Tibet enriched and developed CPC’s religious work theory in the new era,provided the guidance for Tibet’s religious work,offered the value implications for forging the strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.In order to implement its practical requirements,the Sinicization of Tibetan Buddhism and guiding it adapt to the socialist society should be actively carried out,“Three Consciousnesses”education and the practice of“Five Benefits”should be elaborately organized.
