Objective To investigate the nfluence of mind mapping on perioperative knowledge awareness in women with uterine fibroids(UF)underwent minimally invasive surgery(MIS).Methods A total of 106 UF women underwent MIS in our hospital from June 2019 to July 2021 were enrolled as the subjects in this study, and they were randomized at 1∶1 ratio to receive either routine nursing(control group)or routine nursing+mind mapping(study group). The perioperative knowledge awareness and self-protection ability were evaluated, and the incidence of postoperative complications was compared. Results After intervention, the study group had significantly higher perioperative knowledge awareness including the condition, surgical procedure, surgical risk,pre-post-operative precautions(χ^(2)=5.267,9.396,11.042,6.290;P<0.05,respectively),significantly higher scores of nursing skills,self-care responsibility,self-concept,and health knowledge(t=6.415,6.192,9.893,10.146;P<0.05,respectively),significantly lower postoperative complications(χ^(2)=4.867,P<0.05,respectively)compared with the control group. Conclusion For UF women underwent MIS,Mind mapping intervention would be conducive to the improvement of perioperative knowledge awareness and self-care ability, and reduction of postoperative complications.
