吕叔湘外语教育思想及其当代实践价值探究

LüShuxiang’s Thoughts on Foreign Language Education and Their Practical Value in Contemporary Society

吕叔湘先生是我国著名语言学大师,他曾亲自从事外语教学工作,对我国外语教育政策制定和课程教学实施提出过很多独到见解。本文从宏观外语教育和微观外语教学两个方面对吕叔湘先生的观点进行了梳理,探讨了其外语教育思想体系及实践价值,并得出结论:吕叔湘先生对我国外语教育语种规划、外语人才培养层次及规模、外语教育阶段衔接、外语教学方法、外语教材编写、外语考试制度等多个方面提出的观点不仅为我国当前和今后改进外语教育与教学效果做出了巨大贡献,而且为探索适合中国国情的本土化外语教育与教学模式提供了相应的启示。

As a well-known linguistics master of China,LüShuxiang has devoted himself to foreign language teaching and put forward a lot of unique ideas concerning the design of foreign language education policies as well as the implementation of curriculum in China.This paper systematically summarizes Lü’s thoughts on foreign language education and their practical value in contemporary society from both the macro and micro perspectives.The content discussed in this article covers LüShuxiang’s opinions on language varieties in foreign language education planning,the level and scale of foreign language talents cultivation,foreign language educational stage connection,foreign language teaching methods,the design of foreign language teaching material and foreign language examination system.It finally comes to the conclusion that LüShuxiang’s views not only make great contributions to the current and further improvement of foreign language education and teaching in China,but also throws some lights on exploring the localization of foreign language education and teaching mode which is suitable to Chinese conditions.
