千瓦级空间堆热离子—碱金属混合式热电转换系统设计及性能

Design and performance of thermionic-alkali metal hybrid thermoelectric conversion system of kilowatt space reactor

摘要 针对空间核电转换系统静态热电转换发电效率低的问题,设计开发了一种新型的热离子-碱金属混合发电系统。将热离子热电转换系统作为高温热源,配合碱金属热电转换系统耦合发电,通过建立耦合发电系统数理模型,研究了系统接收极功函数和系统电流密度对混合发电系统功率效率的影响。计算结果表明:热离子-碱金属混合发电系统较热离子热电转换系统发电效率提高约6.00%,较碱金属热电转换系统发电效率提高约10.00%,为静态热电转换系统的效率优化提供了理论依据。 In view of the low power generation efficiency of static thermoelectric conversion in the current space nuclear power conversion system,a new type of thermionic-alkali hybrid power generation system was designed and developed.The waste heat of the thermionic conversion system was used as the heat source of the alkali metal converter,and it was used for secondary power generation to improve the efficiency of the conversion system.By establishing a mathematical model of the thermionic-alkali hybrid power generation system,the effects of the receiving pole work function and system current density on the power efficiency of the hybrid power generation system were studied.The calculation results show that the efficiency of thermionic-alkali hybrid power generation system has a better thermal efficiency,6.00%improvement compared with that of the thermionic thermoelectric conversion system and 10.00%improvement compared with that of the alkali metal thermoelectric conversion system,which provides a theoretical basis for the efficiency optimization of the static thermoelectric conversion system.
