Historical and Theoretical Logic of the Chinese Path to Modernization

自近代以来,中国人关于现代化道路的探索从未停歇。新中国成立后,中国共产党将马克思主义基本原理同中国具体实际相结合,遵循中国悠久的历史逻辑、顺应时代背景,与时俱进地提出现代化建设的战略目标和总体方针,走出一条中国式的现代化道路。“中国式现代化”的概念在实践中不断拓展内涵。在党的二十大报告中形成了成熟的理论体系,开辟了中国式现代化理论创新的新境界。这一理论体系是马克思主义中国化时代化的产物,也是“中和”思想在当代条件下的创造性转化和创新性发展,为中国式现代化开辟了广阔的发展空间、提供了强大的思想武器,中国式现代化是建设社会主义现代化强国的必由之路。

Since modern times, the Chinese people’s exploration of the path to modernization has never stopped. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Communist Party of China combined the fundamental truth of Marxism with China’s specific context, followed China’s time-honored historical logic, conformed to requirements of the times, put forward the strategic goal and overall policy of modernization, and set out a Chinese path to modernization. The concept of "the Chinese path to modernization" has continuously developed its content in practice and finally formed a mature theoretical system in the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, opening up a new realm of theoretical innovation of the Chinese path to modernization. In general, the theory of the Chinese path to modernization is the outcome of the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional neutralization thoughts under contemporary conditions. The theory opens up a broad space for development and provides powerful support for the Chinese path to modernization, and is the only way to build China into a modern socialist country.
