On the Universality and Features of Chinese Path to Modernization

中国式现代化是人类社会现代化建设普遍规律与中国特色的具体国情的有机结合。现代化是人类发展的历史趋势,我们依据自身的文化特点、历史传统和现实条件,走出了一条中国式现代化道路。中国式现代化实现了市场化普遍手段与中国特色社会主义制度的有机结合,破除了市场化等同于资本化的误区。中国式现代化发展全过程人民民主,打破了西方式民主“一统天下”的“神话”。中国式现代化丰富了世界现代化文化的多样性,坚持真正的自由、民主、平等等价值理念,打破了西方普世价值的“神话”。中国式现代化通过反思科技化带来的物化危机,实现了人与自然和谐共生的美好愿景。中国式现代化顺应了全球化的历史潮流,并在此基础上倡导推动构建人类命运共同体。

Chinese modernization is an effective combination of the universal law of modernization of human society and the specific national conditions of China. Modernization is the historical trend of human development, and we have taken a path of Chinese modernization based on our own cultural characteristics, historical traditions and realistic conditions. The Chinese modernization has realized effective integration of the universal means of marketization with the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and dispelled the misconception that marketization is equivalent to capitalization. Chinese modernization has developed the whole-process people’s democracy, breaking the "myth" of the single dominance of Western-style democracy. Chinese modernization enriches the diversity of the world’s modernization culture, adheres to the true values of freedom, democracy and equality, and breaks the "myth" of Western universal values. By reflecting on the crisis of materialization brought about by technology, Chinese modernization has realized the vision of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. Chinese modernization follows the historical trend of globalization and advocates the building of a community with a shared future for mankind on this basis.
