In the current information era,various information technologies have been well applied in mineral exploration and development activities,and 3D GIS technology is one of them.3D GIS technology can provide detailed and comprehensive information for mineral exploration and development activities,and better serve mineral mining activities.This paper first expounds the application advantages of 3D GIS technology in mineral exploration and development,and then explores the application content and direction of 3D GIS technology in mineral exploration and development based on industry practical experience,and finally explores the safeguard measures for the application of 3D GIS technology in mineral exploration and development based on multiple levels.
