社会资本能否提升居民文化消费?——来自CFPS数据的实证分析

摘要 基于中国家庭追踪调查CFPS2018的数据,采用2SLS、异质性检验、中介效应和调节效应分析了文化消费的社会资本效应。研究表明:社会资本可有效提升居民文化消费水平,在运用工具变量法和更换解释变量后,结论依旧稳健;东部区域、城镇居民、收入前25%的居民、女性、未婚居民等群体的社会资本对文化消费的影响更加显著;中介效应表明,社会资本通过发挥创收效应和文化资本提升效应影响文化消费,互联网的使用在社会资本和文化消费中发挥正向调节作用。文章从积累社会资本、提升创收能力、增强文化资本等方面给出了针对性的政策建议。 Based on the data of CFPS2018,this paper analyzes the impact of social capital on cultural consumption by using 2SLS,heterogeneity test,mediating effect,and regulatory effect.The conclusion shows that social capital can effectively improve the cultural consumption of residents.After using the instrumental variable method and replacing explanatory variables,the conclusion is still robust.In the heterogeneity test,the impact of social capital on cultural consumption is more obvious among residents in the eastern region,urban residents,the top 25%income residents,women,and unmarried residents.The mediating effect shows that social capital promotes cultural consumption by improving residents’income and raising the level of cultural capital.In addition,the Internet can positively stimulate the impact of social capital on cultural consumption.On this basis,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the aspects of accumulating social capital,improving income-generating ability,and enhancing cultural capital.
