摘要
英语阅读与词汇附带习得一直是二语习得领域的研究热点。较之普通泛读,关于窄式阅读对词汇习得影响的研究相对较少。以英语水平相似的非英语专业大学生为研究对象,采取线性混合效应模型,探索窄式阅读对词汇能力的影响。结果显示:窄式阅读能极大地促进英语学习者对词汇识记(接受性词汇)和词汇应用(产出性词汇)两方面能力的提升。
English reading and incidental vocabulary acquisition have always been a research hotspot in the field of second language acquisition.Compared with general extensive reading,there are relatively few studies on vocabulary acquisition in narrow reading.Taking non-English major college students with similar English proficiency as research subjects,a linear mixed effects model is adopted to explore the effects of narrow reading on vocabulary ability.The results show that narrow reading greatly promotes word recognition(receptive vocabulary)and word use(productive vocabulary).
