The“Qing”color in The Story of the Stone reflects the elegant color aesthetics of China and is a unique artistic symbol of Chinese culture.Based on the frame theory and Hawkes's translation,this paper discusses the translation strategies of cyan under different frames.The article points out that deep and rich Qing symbols need dynamic and changeable translation strategies to show profound cultural connotation and embodied the implicit and restrained cultural tradition.
