Breeding of Lvwang No.1, a New Heat-resistant Loofa F1 Hybrid

绿旺1号丝瓜是GM-1为母本,以XY4为父本配制而成的杂交一代新品种。表现中早熟,丰产性优势明显,植株生长势和分枝性强,叶片绿色,从播种至始收春季约64 d、夏季约46.5 d、秋季约46 d,全生育期春季约108 d、夏季约101 d、秋季约78 d。瓜棍棒形,瓜色绿白,瓜外皮上花斑小而多,瓜长38.6 cm,横径5.2 cm,单瓜质量401.2 g。人工接种鉴定表现抗疫病、中抗枯萎病,田间表现抗逆性较强。适合丝瓜产区春、夏、秋季种植。

Lvwang No.1 is a new loofa cultivar developed by crossing inbred line GM-1 as female parent and inbred line XY4 as male parent. It is mid-early maturity, high yield, and has strong growth potential and branching. From sowing to beginning harvest, it takes about 64 days in spring, 46.5 days in summer and 46 days in autumn. The whole growth period is about 108 days in spring, 101 days in summer and 78 days in autumn. The fruit is cylindrical-shaped, green and white,with small and many spots on the skin, 38.6 cm in length, 5.2 cm in width, and 401.2 g in weight. Artificial inoculation identification showed that this cultivar is resistant to blight, moderately resistant to Fusarium wilt, which showed strong resistance in the field. It is suitable for planting in spring, summer and autumn in loofa production area.
