Self-revolution and Social Revolution in the Perspective of Historical Materialism

立足于唯物史观这一认识和把握历史的根本方法,准确把握自我革命与社会革命的内涵与关系,是我们深刻把握党的自我革命作为我们党跳出治乱兴衰历史周期率“第二个答案”的前提和基础。因为进行改造客观世界的革命与改造主观世界的革命十分重要且必要,但必须实现二者的辩证统一,即进行伟大社会革命离不开党的自我革命,进行党的自我革命也离不开社会革命。这也是我们党在理论上发展马克思主义、在政治上加强自身建设、在实践中解决中国问题的一条根本经验。正是因为有这种依靠自我革命精神进行自我纠错、加强自身建设的政治自觉,我们才团结带领人民相继完成了一系列伟大社会革命。质言之,自我革命与社会革命是我们党作为马克思主义政党的本色写照,是我们党跳出治乱兴衰历史周期率的政治密码。

Based on historical materialism as the fundamental method of understanding and grasping history,accurately grasping the connotation and relationship between self-revolution and social revolution is the premise and basis for us to deeply grasp the Party’s self-revolution as the"second answer"for our Party to jump out of the historical cycle.It is very important and necessary to carry out the revolution of transforming the objective world and the revolution of transforming the subjective world,but we must realize the dialectical unity of the two,that is,the great social revolution cannot be separated from the Party's self-revolution,and the Party's self-revolution cannot be separated from the social revolution.This is also a fundamental experience of our Party in developing Marxism in theory,strengthening its own construction in politics,and solving China's problems in practice.It is precisely because of this political consciousness of self-correction and selfconstruction relying on the spirit of self-revolution that we have united and led the people to complete a series of great social revolutions one after another.In essence,the theory of"two revolutions"is the true portrayal of our Party as a Marxist political party and the political code for the Party to jump out of the historical cycle of prosperity and decline.
