当今全球化时代,帝国主义与旧帝国主义有何不同?当代帝国主义的本质有没有发生变化?其矛盾危机何在?如何反抗新帝国主义的统治?哈维、伍德、福斯特、詹姆逊等人坚持马克思主义政治经济学批判的理论传统,对这些问题进行了有益的探索和解答。他们立足资本批判的精神和方法,揭露了新帝国主义的实质,考察了帝国主义剥削机制的新变化,剖析了新帝国主义引发的新的矛盾和危机,并对抵抗全球资本霸权的道路进行了探索。当代西方左翼学者对新帝国主义的政治经济学批判一方面开辟了“资本—空间”“资本—生态”“资本—文化”的批判路径,超越了文化意识形态批判的局限性;另一方面回应了对列宁帝国主义论当代价值的质疑,从而有力推动了马克思主义帝国主义理论的创新和发展。

What is the difference between Neo-imperialism and original imperialism in the age of globalization?Has the nature of contemporary imperialism changed?What are the contradictions and crises caused by contemporary imperialism?And how do we resist the oppression of Neo-imperialism?David Harvey(哈维),EllenMeiksins Wood(伍德),John Bellamy Foster(福斯特)andFredric Jameson(詹姆逊)have adhered to the theoretical tradition of Marxist critique of political economy,and have made beneficial exploration and response to these questions.Based on the spirit and method of capital criticism,they have exposed the essence of Neo-imperialism,investigated the new changes of its exploitation mechanism,analyzed the new contradictions and crises caused by Neo-imperialism,and explored the way to resist the hegemony of global capital.On the one hand,the contemporary Western left-wing scholars have opened up a critical path of‘capital-space",“capital-ecology"and“capital-culture"”in terms of the critique of Neo-imperialist political economy,which has exceeded the limitations of the critique of culture and ideology.And on the other hand,they have responded to the questioning of the contemporary value of Lenin's theory on imperialism,thus vigorously promoting the innovation and development of Marxist theory of imperialism.
