在科学与“道地”之间:中药标准的人类学考察

Between Science and “Daodi(Geo-authentic)”:An Anthropological Investigation on the Standards of Chinese Herbal Medicine

通过对中药从业者的实证研究发现,中西药是两个不同的体系,完全以西药标准来规训中药是一种后殖民主义的话语权力,其造成了传统被摒弃、传统和现代之间的张力未能解决等中药发展的困境。在全球文化不断融合的今天,更需要以平等、取长补短的态度对待民族之间的文化碰撞和交流,将西药有效成分的标准与中药的传统性状、道地标准等结合起来。由于目前仍存在某些中药传统知识无法规范化的问题,中药如何在现代社会中保存自身优势、应付外界变化、解决传统和现代之间的张力,以获得良性发展,是一个值得深入研究的课题。

Through empirical research on practitioners of Chinese herbal medicine, this article found that Chinese and western medicinal sciences pertained to two different systems, and it was a post colonialism discourse power to regulate Chinese herbal medicine completely with standards from western medicine. It brought to Chinese medicine difficulties in development such as the abandon of tradition and the unsolved tension between tradition and modernity. Against the background of increasing integration of global cultures, it is even more preferable to settle the cultural collision and exchange between nations with an equal and complementary attitude, and combine the standards of effective ingredients of western medicine with the traditional and authentic characteristics of Chinese herbal medicine. At present, there still exist unstandardized issues for some knowledge regarding traditional Chinese herbal medicine. Therefore, it is a profound topic for further studies to discuss how Chinese herbal medicine can preserve its own advantages in modern society, cope with external changes, and resolve the tension between tradition and modernity to obtain excellent development.
