With the globalisation of the economy and the advent of the “Internet +”, the masses have become more and more interested in the quality of life and thus in the variety of food. With the increasingly close relationship between popular elements and daily life, western pastry, as one of the indispensable foods in people’s daily life,has also been integrated with popular elements. This paper introduces the types of western style pastries, analyzes the integration and application of popular elements in western-style pastry making, with a view to promoting the development of western-style pastry in the culinary world, and thus constantly meeting the pursuit of new things.
