模因论视角下“打”的词义演变及相关英译

Semantic Evolution and English Translation of“打(da)”:A Perspective of Memetics

从共时角度看,汉语单音节词“打”的意义众多、用法多样;从历时角度看,“打”经历了选择、复制、传播过程,成为语言模因。作者基于模因论,梳理了“打”的基本义、引申义及其语法化的演变过程,进而总结“打”所具有的多重含义,最后列出“打”字常见搭配,并在此基础上探讨“打”字相关词组的英译实践。

Synchronically,Chinese monosyllabic word“打(da)”has many meanings and diverse usages.Diachronically,“打(da)”has experienced the process of selection,replication and dissemination,becoming a language meme.In this study,the evolution of the basic meaning,extended meaning and grammaticalization of“打(da)”are reviewed based on memetics.Besides,the common collocations of“打(da)”are listed.Finally,the English translation of the phases related to“打(da)”is discussed.
