Wu Yan: We Want to Do “New Science Fiction”

近年来,我国科幻文学蓬勃发展,从边缘走向主流,成功走出国门登上世界的舞台。其中,有着作家、学者、教育工作者等多重身份的吴岩教授为推动中国科幻文学的发展做出了极其重要的贡献,这一次访谈主要围绕四个方面展开:首先,结合自己的写作经历和教学经历,吴教授谈到了中小学科幻教育要重视培养学生们的想象力;接着,对于科幻文学所展现的一些新的“文学性”吴教授讲述了一些自己的看法;随后,吴教授从世界语境探讨了中国科幻的发展历程;最后,针对提问,吴教授还对如何推动中国科幻文学走向世界进行了一些探讨。

In recent years, Chinese science fiction literature has flourished, moving from the margins to the mainstream and successfully reaching international readers. Professor Wu Yan,who has multiple identities as a writer, scholar and educator, has made extremely important contributions to promoting the development of Chinese science fiction literature. This interview focuses on three aspects. First, combining his own writing and teaching experiences, Professor Wu talked about the importance of cultivating students’ imagination in science fiction education in primary and secondary schools. Secondly, for some new “literary” aspects shown by science fiction literature, Professor Wu shared some of his own views. Thirdly, Professor Wu discussed the development of Chinese science fiction from a world context. Finally, Professor Wu also mentioned how to promote Chinese science fiction literature to the world.
