Since the concept of exercise-induced hypertension was proposed, after nearly 40 years of research and exploration, there was a more in-depth understanding of exercise-induced hypertension, but not received widespread attention from clinicians. This article reviews the definition of exercise-induced hypertension, whether it increases the risk of new-onset hypertension in the future, whether it affects cardiac structure and function, whether it increases the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, and whether it is associated with other diseases, and hoped that clinicians will pay more attention to exercise-induced hypertension.
