In order to enable canvas manufacturers,garment manufacturers to learn more about the developments and quality requirements of canvas,this paper introduces the new classifications of canvas and their constructions respectively,states the key points of quality control,focus on Velco problems and metal residues from the point of view of visual appearance,while pay attention to the hand-feel,formaldehyde,dimensional change after immersion into water or after steaming press for intrinsic quality.It offers references for the developments of canvas for garments.
