摘要
为提高长颈鹿围产期的管理,本研究以广州动物园雌性长颈鹿及其幼崽为研究对象,统计分析2015—2021年雌性长颈鹿围产期采食行为和体重变化、幼崽初生体重以及生产第二产程时长数据。结果发现,长颈鹿围产期体重平均增长为(14.3±5.14)kg,分娩第二产程的平均时长为(62±28.05)min。相关性分析表明,幼崽初生体重分别与长颈鹿围产期体重增长和分娩第二产程时长均存在极强相关性,相关性系数分别为0.898和0.936,长颈鹿围产期夜间自由采食平均时长明显大于其他长颈鹿,为圈养长颈鹿围产期行为管理提供参考借鉴。
To improve the management of giraffe during perinatal period,our study analyzed the body foraging behavior and weight changes of female giraffes during perinatal period,birth weight and duration of the second stage of labor of the female giraffes and their offspring in Guangzhou Zoo from 2015 to 2021.The average of weight gain of female giraffes during perinatal period was(14.3±5.14)kg,and the average of duration of the second stage of labor was(62±28.05)min.The correlation analysis indicated that the birth weight had a high correlation with both weight gain and duration of the second stage of labor of female giraffes,and the correlation coefficient was 0.898 and 0.936,the average time of free feeding in the perinatal period of giraffes was longer than that of other giraffes,respectively.Our study provided a reference for behavior management of captive giraffes during perinatal period.
