This case focuses on the research and development of school-based aesthetic and humanistic quality courses in the general education module of Emerging Engineering programs.It not only pays attention to the aesthetic education function and the orientation of ideological and political course,but also makes teaching thematic design according to the professional characteristics and industry requirements of science and engineering students in the background of Emerging Engineering programs.The integration of aesthetic education course with both professional discipline ability and innovative consciousness provides strong support for cultivating future-oriented,well-grounded and fully new-type engineers with artistic accomplishment and practical ability.
