新时代,社会对大学生的思想道德品质越发重视并提出了相应要求,有效开展思想政治教育工作也成了高校的重要工作内容之一。思想政治教育对于大学生思想道德水平的提升以及价值观念的培养有着重要的实际意义,因此应当积极将思想政治教育与其他科目进行充分融合,提升高校思想政治教育水平。基于此,本文将以高校英语教学为切入点,探究如何将思政元素与高校英语教学进行有机融合,进而促进高校思想政治教育与英语教育的全面发展。

In the new era, the society attaches more importance to the ideological and moral quality of college students and puts forward corresponding requirements. The effective development of ideological and political education has become one of the important work contents of colleges and universities. Ideological and political education is of great practical significance to the improvement of college students’ ideological and moral level and the cultivation of values. Therefore, ideological and political education should be fully integrated with other subjects to improve the level of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. This paper will explore how to integrate ideological and political elements with English teaching in colleges and universities to promote the overall development of ideological and political education and English education in colleges and universities.
