The Current Agricultural and Rural Economic Situation and Policy Support Suggestions

2022年以来,面对复杂严峻且动荡变化的国际环境、国内散发多发突发疫情和极端天气灾害等严峻考验,农业农村经济继续延续恢复发展态势,在总体上呈现稳中有进、积极向好、亮点频现等积极变化,为稳定宏观经济大盘、稳物价保民生稳就业等提供了坚实支撑。但农业农村经济运行仍然面临一系列问题和严峻挑战。为此提出了四项对策建议,即切实推动高效统筹疫情防控和经济社会发展政策落实落地,加强对农业农村经济的政策支持,更多推动应对疫情和外部环境冲击的政策调整向支持农业农村发展和农民工就业适度倾斜,科学把握宏观调控政策出台的时机、节奏和力度。

Since 2022,in the face of complex and severe and turbulent changes in the international environment,the domestic sporadic and multiple outbreaks of epidemics and extreme weather disasters and other severe tests,the agricultural and rural economic situation continues the general development trend with a steady and positive progress with bright spots and other positive changes.This provides a solid support for stabilizing macro-economic market and stable prices to protect people's livelihood and stable employment,etc.However,the operation of the agricultural and rural economy still faces a series of problems and serious challenges.Based on this,four recommendations are proposed,namely to effectively promote efficient coordination of epidemic prevention and control as well as economic and social development implementation,to strengthen policy support for the agricultural and rural economy,to promote policy adjustments from responding to the epidemic and external environmental shocks to supporting agricultural and rural development and employment of migrant workers;to scientifically grasp the timing,rhythm and strength of macro adjustment policies being introduced.
