Textual Research of the Kong Anguo’s Commentaries on The Analects

在何晏《论语集解》中保存下来的汉代学者的《论语》注释中,孔安国注的数量是较多的,初步统计有475条左右。孔安国注以阐释《论语》的思想内涵为主,也有对词语的解释,由于时代局限,有些注释没有准确地契合《论语》原文的含义。从影响看,有的注释没有被后世注家采用,有的是影响了后世的部分注家,还有的则为后世注本普遍采纳。对这些注释进行考辨,不仅有利于准确理解《论语》,对于恰当地认识和评价《论语》孔安国注的地位和影响,也是很有意义的。

Among the commentaries on The Analects by scholars of the Han dynasty preserved in He Yan’s The Collected Explanations of The Analects,the number of Kong Anguo’s commentaries is relatively large,with a preliminary count of about 475.Due to the limitations of the time,some of the commentaries do not accurately fit the meaning of the original text of The Analects.In terms of influence,some of the commentaries were not adopted by later commentators,some only influenced a few later commentators,and some were generally adopted by later commentaries.The examination of these commentaries is not only beneficial to the accurate understanding of The Analects,but also meaningful for the proper understanding and evaluation of the status and influence of Kong An Guo’s commentary on The Analects.
