Promoting the urbanization by taking the county as an important carrier is another major strategic deployment for comprehensively opening a new journey for the construction of a modern socialist country.By summarizing and analyzing the history of urbanization in China,this paper analyzes the content,significance and realization of the new mode of countybased urbanization,and explores the approaches to its realization.These approaches include:implementing the“people-centered urbanization”and solving the problems of population loss and population aging;Improving county-level infrastructure to sustain economic development with local characteristics;protecting natural environment and historical and cultural heritage to improve the quality of life;Increasing the radiation of the county to drive rural development;Establishing the policy system to guarantee county-based new urbanization;accelerating the modernization of the county in the process of promoting Rural Revitalization.
