互联网金融平台垄断形成、演化与社会福利损失

Formation,evolution and social welfare loss of internet financial platform monopoly

在界定互联网金融平台、平台垄断力量等核心概念基础上,系统梳理互联网金融平台垄断的形成路径、演化机制及社会福利损失测度方法;结合面板数据分阶段、分类型地检验我国互联网金融平台是否存在垄断,测度可能导致的社会福利损失,验证互联网金融平台垄断与社会福利损失的关系。研究结果表明:我国互联网金融平台垄断普遍处于较高水平,不同阶段、不同类型的互联网金融平台垄断强弱差异显著;由此产生的社会福利损失具有规模大、结构性差异明显等特征;垄断与社会福利损失存在较为显著的单向作用机制,即垄断造成社会福利损失,但后者不必然反向加剧垄断。

On the basis of defining the core concepts of Internet financial platform and platform monopoly power,the paper systematically sorts out the formation path,evolution mechanism and social welfare loss measurement method of Internet financial platform monopoly.Combined with panel data,it examines Chinese Internet financial platform by stages and types.Whether there is a monopoly,the social welfare loss that may be caused is measured,and the relationship between the monopoly of the Internet financial platform and the social welfare loss is verified.The research results show that:Chinese Internet financial platform monopoly is generally at a relatively high level,and the monopoly strength of different stages and types of Internet financial platforms is significantly different;the resulting social welfare losses have the characteristics of large scale and obvious structural differences;There is a relatively significant one-way mechanism of social welfare loss,that is,monopoly causes social welfare loss,but the latter does not necessarily aggravate monopoly in the opposite direction.
