摘要
以2011—2020年沪深A股上市公司为样本,检验CEO信息技术背景对企业数字化转型的影响。研究发现,CEO信息技术背景显著提升了企业数字化转型水平,行业竞争与CEO权力均强化了这一效应,且这一效应在国有企业和集团隶属企业中更为显著。研究结果拓展了数字化转型的高管个体前因研究,对企业推进数字化转型具有重要启示。
This paper selects A-share listed companiesinShanghai and Shenzhen from 2011 to 2020 as a sample to study the impact of CEO’s information technology background on enterprise digital transformation.It finds that CEO’s information technology background has significantly improved the level of enterprise digital transformation,while industry competition and CEO power have strengthened this effect.In addition,this effect is more significant in state-owned enterprises and subsidiaries.The research conclusion expand the research on the antecedents of executives in digital transformation and have important implications for enterprises to promote digital transformation.
