《时代与肖像》是王尧写给故乡的一部散文集。在对往事的回忆中塑造了形象可感的人物群像,也写出了那个时代的特质。在对过去的追忆中寻找现在自我存在的定位,用温和的语言抵抗现实的消磨与残酷,完成了他对乡愁超越性的把握。

Times and Portrait is a collection of essays written by Wang Yao to his hometown. In memorizing of the past,Wang Yao shapes the images of a group of people and writes the characteristics of the time. In recalling the past,he seeks for the position of his present self-existence,resists the weariness and cruelty of reality with mild words,thus completing his transcendental grasp of homesickness.
