Discuss on the Design of New Tibetan Lighting Products With Physicality in the IoT Based on People-Oriented Design

本文探索即在设计过程中,人类应当自然地被置于非人类行为者之上。新的技术能力正开始为非人类行为者赋予决策能力,从而允许一个积极的代理形式。这一变革只会在未来走向成熟,且有潜力对设计过程和更广的社会产生深刻的颠覆性影响。在唐纳德·A·诺曼以用户为中心的设计的基本特征,告知物联网的理念和围绕新唯物主义的哲学的基础上,本文认为支撑设计行为的基本假设需要被重新评估。

This paper holds that human beings should naturally be placed above non-human actors in the design process.New technologies are beginning to empower non-human actors to make decisions,giving birth to a positive form of agency.This transformation will only mature in the future,and has the potential to exert a profoundly disruptive impact on the design process and wider society.This paper,based on Donald A.Norman’s basic characteristics of user-centered design,the idea of the Internet of Things(IoT),and the philosophy of new materialism,argues that the fundamental assumptions underpinning design behavior need to be reassessed.
