With the continuous integration of virtual technology and the real world,the design industry will enter the digital era.Metaverse is a new field of multi technology,multi discipline integration and cross industry collaborative development,which is a new direction of digital development.This article analyzes the combination and application cases of the meta universe and public space design,and explores the possibility of the development of public space design in the perspective of the Meta universe,so as to promote the integration of the virtual and the real,and promote the diversified development of public space design.
