The CPC is an advanced party that attaches great importance to theoretical innovation. The endeavors over the past century has fully proved the scientific conclusion that "Marxism works", particularly when it is adapted to the Chinese context and the needs of our times. Chinese Communists continue to open new chapters in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, which has not only the theoretical basis of Marxism, but also the historical basis of endeavors over the past century and the realistic basis of the new journey. To write a new chapter for adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, we must uphold Marxism and apply its worldview and methodology to solving problems in China, and integrate the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s specific realities and fine traditional culture. In addition, we must put the people above all else, maintain self-confidence and stand on our own feet, uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, adopt a problem-oriented approach, apply systems thinking and maintain a global vision.
