The Marxist concept of equality,based on the methodological principles of the materialist view of history,reveals the historical nature of equality,analyzes the formality and paradox of capitalist equality,realizes the double transcendence of the polarization of rich and poor and egalitarianism,and grasps the path of realizing equality in the contradictory movement of productive forces and production relations by taking common wealth and all-round human development as the scientific connotation and value goal of socialist equality.It has laid a profound theoretical foundation for us to accurately grasp the subjects,contents,goals,processes,dilemmas,and paths of common prosperity in the new era.To solidly promote common wealth,we need to base ourselves on the historical orientation and practical dilemma of common prosperity,integrate the Marxist concept of equality with China's reality,take high-quality development as the material foundation,improve the income distribution system as the institutional guarantee,and promote the all-round development of people as the endogenous driving force to solve the problems of insufficient and unbalanced development.
