Clinical value of diagnostic biomarkers for patent foramen ovale-associated stroke

卵圆孔未闭相关卒中(PFO-AS)是指中高危卵圆孔未闭(PFO)患者在无其他明确病因的情况下发生的缺血性卒中。目前,临床上PFO-AS主要依靠排他性诊断,尚无诊断金标准。充分地了解PFO-AS的诊断性生物标志物,有助于提高诊断的准确性,从而及早给予治疗,使患者受益。本研究对PFO-AS的多种生物标志物研究进展进行总结,并探讨其在临床上的应用价值。

Patent foramen ovale-associated stroke(PFO-AS)refers to attack of ischemic stroke without other clear etiology in patients with moderate-to-high risk PFO.At present,there is no gold standard for diagnosis of PFO-AS,and the exclusive diagnosis is the main method in clinic.A full understanding of the diagnostic biomarkers for PFO-AS can help to increase the accuracy of diagnosis,and so as to give early treatment and benefit patients.This article summarized the research progress on multiple biomarkers for PFO-AS,and discussed its clinical application value.
