"Valley filling"extension of the mountain:Joint Innovation Center

融合创新中心是重庆两江协同创新区首开项目之一,承担开区发办公会议、行政商务、旅居及商业配套等功能。项目所处山地复杂多变,因此设计从断面入手梳理空间形态特征,将建筑顺势沿山谷进行规划,通过“填谷”将建筑作为山的延伸,继而营造特有的山地体验场所,打造出新的“山谷”建筑。

Joint Innovation Center is one of the first projects of Chongqing Liangjiang Coordinative Zone,which undertakes the functions of office meeting,administrative business,living and commercial supporting in the development zone.The mountainous area is complex and changeable,so in terms of design strategy,we start from the cross section to sort out the spatial morphological characteristics,plan the buildings along the valley,and take the buildings as the extension of the mountain by"valley filling",and then create a unique mountain experience site,so as to create a new"valley"building.
