语言与人类、社会、文化发展息息相关,语言研究自始就与许多学科领域有着千丝万缕的联系。然而,多学科语言研究的发展特点和演进脉络迄今未见系统的历时考察报告。本文基于《自然》和《科学》两大顶级多学科学术期刊120年来发表的语言研究相关文献,采用文献计量法从历年发文数量、国家/地区、机构分布、作者、基金、关键词、引用情况、研究内容等多个角度进行统计分析,并评析跨学科语言研究中引起广泛关注的重要文献,旨在系统梳理多学科视野下语言研究一个多世纪以来的演进轨迹与分布特点,以加深了解多学科语言研究的发展概貌、潜在问题和未来趋势,促进语言研究。

Language is closely related to human, social, and cultural development, and language research has been inextricably linked with many disciplines from the beginning.However, no systematic review has yet been reported on the development and changes of multidisciplinary language research.Based on the language research literature in the two top multidisciplinary academic journals Nature and Science over the past 120 years, this article offers a bibliometric analysis from multiple perspectives including the number of articles published over the years, countries/regions, institutions, authors, funds, keywords, citations, research content and discussed important articles that have attracted widespread attention.The study aims to systematically summarize how more than a century of multidisciplinary language research has evolved and distributed, so as to better understand its development patterns, potential problems and emerging trends and to promote modern language research.
